Here is something that you will not often see offered for sale. This is Pedersoli's top of the line percussion target pistol. The Kuchenreuter in .44 caliber. This pistol is in unfired condition and comes with the rear sight adjustment tool, no box. There are no detracting marks of any kind and the pistol is in mint condition.
This pistol is modeled after one designed by noted German gunsmith and exceptional pistol shot Barthelamos Kuchenreuter in the mid 1850s. The craftsmanship and finish is exceptional as you would expect from Pedersoli. The trigger is double acting and can be fird set or unset, the barrel is 11&1/4in long in .44 caliber suggest a .435 or Lee's .433 round ball. Barrel has 7 groves with a twist of 1/18in. Weight of pistol is 2.5lbs. This is the standard model as opposed to the highly engraved, make you gasp at the price, delux model. The barrel is browned the furniture is color case hardened and the stock has Pedersoli's renowned oil finish. The rearsight is adjustable for elevation and the front sight is drift adjustable for windage.
If you have wanted one of these here is a chance to save some serious money. Dixie gets $1895 and shipping and Cherry's gets $1875 and shipping. I am asking $1525 which includes insured shipping by priority mail anywhere in the CONUS it is legal to ship to. I prefer postal money order but personal check is OK with time to clear. I’ve been eyeballing this. It appears to be a hooked breech pistol, is that a fact? If you get a chance could you post a good photo of the muzzle showing the rifling. Thanks

It is a hooked breech I am attaching a photo of the rifling from the muzzle best I can do. The bore is pristine never fired condition.
