My new 62 cal 48" tapered round barrel smoothie build is coming along. Dummy me made a brass sight blade only thinking of soldering it on. Well that is no problem if ya can hold it. My wife said her fingers would get too hot if she held it, so I scratched that idea. 😂 I searched in my miscellaneous metal box and found a chunk of under-rib cut off. Checked the barrel side curve and I knew I was in business.
Hack saw, file, and a diamand rubbing blade did the trick. It is a tad wide for 79 year old eyes and also hopefuly a tad high to whittled down for sight in.
This will be a piece of cake to solder in.
Larry
