My sisters late husband was big into muzzleloader collecting and kit building. He was actually starting on a couple scratch builds prior to becoming ill. I was at her house today looking through his book collection IMG_5618.jpegand came across this.

It’s a 3 volume set called “Great Gumakers for the Early West” by James Gordon

This is a very cool set of books. I am starting on a Late Lancaster build and so I have read through volume 2 which covers all the builders from Lancaster.

I will say the author has quite the collection.
