The horned toad says we should go to Mexico.
I've had this in the rack for two years. I had bought 3 mottled horns at the same time. One sold to fill an order. The other two live in the rack as I was never sure what to do with them.
This horn is as it came - natural colors and shape. Its round at the small spout end, flattened at the top, and the whole thing is twisted. Because of the shape it sits really nice against the right side of the body. I fitted it with a walnut base set in beeswax, tung oiled and held with antiqued tacks. The spout plug is from the same piece of walnut. I used two twisted staples for strap attachment as I could not bring myself to take a file to it for strap rings.
I wish it would photograph better as it is hard to appreciate the natural beauty of this one. I deal with a large number of horns and watch for more mottled ones when they come up for sale. Never found another like this in the last two years anyway.
12" along the outside curve and should hold a half pound of powder. You can P.M. me with any questions. The stand in the picture is not included. Nor is the gun, obviously.
Offered up for $125 plus $18 shipping, priority mail, insured and bubble wrapped. PP Friends & Family or postal money order.
Contact me for mailing address or email for payment.
This is a real, natural, one of a kind that will stand out on the firing line. Thanks for looking.
