I couldn't help myself and bought this "wall hanger". It's poorly made yet I like a challenge and it will shoot this winter. What I know is at the muzzle it's a 16 bore. The barrels are a heavy wall 33-1/2" and appears only fired for proof in Belgium. The barrels maybe made before 1894 and I found what looks like the shotgun in a 1911 reprint of a catalog it looks like the V 63. No makers name anywhere I could find, short of the proof stamps. The touch hole is a large 0.105" and the barrels need a good honing as lots of tool marks. The original ramrod must have been steel as what it has now is a 1/4" dowel with a 5.56mm shell casing on the end. The builders bench section will be busy with my questions LOL.

That looks pretty nice.
Get those barrels and breach plugs checked out, then switch out those cut agates for some real flints and have some fun with her.
The barrels and breach plugs are fine, I checked them out today with my bore scope. No rust in the barrels only a rough finish. The barrels are fluid steel and so thick that's why it is so heavy that and the length. It weighs 9 pounds 14 ounces. I have good flints but not wasting them on testing the locks. I have two issues with the fit up of locks to barrel and the hammers need to be bent to get full contact of the flint to the frisson. This one needs a lot of work before I can enjoy it.
