I know original sights were small, but I can’t seem to find any dimensions for ‘em besides front sight blades were 1/16” or so. Anyone have a rough measurements for ‘em both front and rear? Planning a slim and lightweight rifle build and kinda want to keep it as close to the originals as I can. Going with a 3/4” .40 cal Rice barrel and a small Siler lock with a slightly modified lock plate. Figure the tiny barleycorn sights would be a nice fit just can’t seem to dig up any sizes for them. Thanks a head of time.

A data point for you, from an original Dickert I did some shooting tests with about a decade ago. Barrel about 40 1/2", front sight .119" in height, .021" at widest. Rear sight was 9" from the breech, notch looked like a knife nick. The barrel had been shortened slightly at the muzzle, so the front sight was right at the muzzle instead of set back.
