This is a good looking horn that I picked up recently. It looks like it was originally made more as a display piece, but could probably be put into service with just a little work. It’s around 11” in circumference at the base, and around 10” long overall. It’s not as smooth as most bison horns I’ve handled, which is why I believe it’s more decorative. It isn’t air tight. It has tacked leather bands around both the base and spout, and what looks to be a pewter inlay on the base. Also has a braided cordage strap.
