My next patterning will include memorizing the edges at different ranges. I much prefer to "fringe" them with the edge of the pattern to keep most or all of the shot in the front half, or better yet in the head. These patterns are so smooth and regular it ought to be pretty easy to do.

Of course, I could start carrying my 44 C&B revolver for closer head shots, but that's another project.
