    Jim Kibler's Woodsrunner Production Rate

This has nothing to do with straight CNC machines but I come from a automotive manufacturing background. It's mind boggling but we made a truck every 60-63 seconds or about 1100 units a day. This was 2 different models/sizes with many configurations of each running back to back to back to back.

    Kit v. Factory

Another trend I am seeing more and more Kiblers being assembled for resale in the classifieds. Supposedly these kits require very little work other than finishing the wood and metal. People getting 800-$1000 for assembly seems to be the going rate over the price of the kit. Interesting to say...

Percussion Shooting Thru steel??? Is that possible...??

This is a good tip on shooting safely. Mild steel dimples and distorts with enough energy from bullets. This increases the likelihood of ricochets and bullets bouncing off of it. Shooting AR 500 is a much better way choice when shooting steel targets. AR stays flat and bullets discinigrate when...

    Building a Powder Horn

I am brand new to this black powder stuff. My wife bought me one of those Chinese horns for Christmas and tge horn didn’t have tge home drilled into the cavity when I got it. When I drilled it deeper I went through the side. I scraped it. Fast forward to last week and I found a set of horns from...

Fiber optic front bead and rear blank for a Lyman GPR

I have one. With the different inserts it's great for target work. Being hooded it doesn't allow much light in it so hunting early morning or late in the evening you might have trouble seeing the front sight.

    HOW RURAL IS RURAL?

My descendants bought 50+ sections of land in the late 1800's.Most of it is still in the family. I live on one of them myself. I am blessed to have grown up here and now retired, hunt, fish and shoot when ever I want. Have to drive 25-30 miles in any direction for hospital or decent stores. It's...

Fiber optic front bead and rear blank for a Lyman GPR

I would look at midwayusa.com at front sights. Williams, truglo, marbles make various heights and fiber optic as well as white/gold/silver beads. Depending on your peep height it's going to determine the height of the front sight.to get the proper POI for your given range.

Econolly Welcome to the fun. I like you am new to black powder shooting and shoot left handed due to my dominant eye. Gardening ..again

We went to our daughter's house yesterday. She has a fairly large raised bed garden and has things growing 365 days a year. She's into non GMO and heritage vegetables. She starts seeds inside under grow lights constantly. We came home with a couple cabbages, broccoli, radishes , arugala, kale...

Anyone here own exclusively muzzle loading firearms?

No I don't not shoot BP exclusively. I just got into black powder guns and do enjoy them. I find it relaxing taking a shot every 2-3 minutes. Lol I come from building long range 22's and CF rifles. I also enjoy and indulge in Class III weapons and will always. They are a huge money pit...
