Traditions Kentucky barrel pins too short

I drilled out for the barrel pins on my Traditions Deluxe Kentucky kit and the pins aren't as long as the forestock is wide. Any ideas for replacing with some other media? I drilled the holes with a #32 bit (0.1160 inches · ≈ 7/64 inches rounded down · ≈ 1/8 inches rounded up · = 2.9464 mm)

Sources for brass and silver inlays?

Log Cabin has a few. I'm looking for brass and/or silver stock inlay sources in order to see what all is available. Interested in stars, half-moons, etc. I'm not equipped toolwise to make my own. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I also do fine with windshield washer in between shots. 30 years cleaning same barrel and she still looks pretty.
