    Question on T/C New Englander

I believe it covers a hole that was used in manufacturing. TC filled the holes originally with screws but then folks would remove them , get them all buggered up , and send them back to TC for replacement ( great warranty back then!) They then started filling that hole with a harder to remove...

    Thompson Center Bought from S&W

I have 4 TC muzzleloaders made by the old TC as well as an unmentionable built here in NH by former employees of TC before their fledgling company was also gobbled up by S & W . TC made great guns back in the day with Ritz at the Helm but he’s followed suit with all the other “big name”...

    Caps ... where ?

I don’t know if you live near a Bass Pro Shop but I was in Bass Pro in Hooksett NH last night and they had a bunch of cci #11 (2 hangers full) and even 5 or so tins of Remington #11 . It caught my eye because they really have a pathetic little section for muzzleloader supplies at That store

    Kinda weird elk hunt

Seven something like this in the woods the other day in an area where off-roading is not allowed , tearing thru the woods hundreds of yards from the actual walking trail. Couldn’t believe how fast it was or how quiet. Blew by my stand and did’t seem to notice me.

Welcome from NH , those are some of the harder to find t/c’s, especially the carbine but this is a great place to start.
