    Do your own bluing? Help please

    If you do your own bluing - what do you use or do you send it out? I have a white barrel and will need to blue the gal up when I am done. 50 cal Kentucky.. What do you recommend and where to get it if you please? :hmm: Thanks guys! and gals if there are any that do this sort of thing,,,,

    To bend or cut

    If'n it were you - would you bend the butt plate to fit the stock or cut the stock to fit the butt plate? :confused: Kentucky Kit from Traditions - since I live a FEW miles away I went with them and I got to see the wood grain b4 buy'n. "Something to do and it keeps me out of the bars"

    Stepping up to the line

    I think I have found a new home - this site looks like I will enjoy it a lot! I have been shooting since I was a kid and enjoy my percussion Hawkins - next is a flintlock. I reload just about everything but intent to get into casting and making my own bullets/balls for black powder. Nothing...
