REALLY DIRTY bore!!!
Just picked up a Traditions hawkens woodsmen for next to nothing. The gun has sat 2years without being cleaned. He said it was shot using pyrodex and maxi hunters. Anyone using the Hornady 240gr conical?
Just curious if anyone has tried out the 240gr conical from Hornady. Was thinking of trying a lighter slug for a little flatter trajectory. I currently shoot the 320gr maxi ball.- Zzmudd58
