    tc flint and percussion lock interchange

    I have have a renegade, also another nonnamed tc. to change the non-American I had to inlet a bit to get the rod to clear and change the breech plug because it had a snail drum. Bruce

    Washing Patch Material

    when I buy bulk ticking material I always wash twice to get the sizing out. It makes the material softer and more absorbent to whatever lube you use. Some of my rifles like pre cuts, after experimenting other's like ticking .

    making a vent

    up grade, I used a set screw hex out, measured width of the barrel ground down to clear a cleaning jag and drilled a 1/16 hole . The powder lays next to the set screw .It does look a bit large but it funnels the heat well. Now if I want to change to percussion, unscrew vent screw in drum. Like...
