    Breechplug fouling solved

I would get about 15 shots from my smr then it would build up enough to block the touchole. I always clean the oil from my rifle with alcohol but the last couple times i decided to soak a patch with alcohol and shove it down the barrel on top the breech and retrieve it with a puller after wiping...

    dry patch lube

I read alot of discussion on the 7 to 1 or 6 to 1 oil and water mix and letting them dry and leaving a light coating of oil on the patch and people having good results with it but i don't see anyone using it for hunting purposes and was wondering why? To me it should work well as a hunting lube...

    Kibler SMR range report

These are all at 50yds. 45cal. it likes .451 balls and .018 ticking and 60 gr., 65 is good for a hunting load and the others were 55, 70, 75gr and it doesn't like them at all. 445 balls were ok but the 451 balls brought it to life. The rifles are shooters as long as you take the time to work...

    Muzzleblast

I was going through my loading cabinet and found an old Muzzleblast magazine from May 1990. It was a blast from the past when i competed and nice to remember old friends and campfire stories. It was quite possibly one of the best times in my life.

    Squirrel Rifle

Patiently waiting on quotes on a .36 cal poor boy, 42" GM barrell, siler flint, double set triggers and steel hardware squirrel rifle kit. I had one of these in a .40 20 some years ago that would cloverleaf 5 shots at 75yds and have regretted selling it ever since. I want something to hunt small...

    My gpr .54 re do.

Link I bought this a few years ago and just wasn't happy with it so i tore it down, stripped it, changed to a L&R lock, Davis triggers, draw filed the barrel to get rid of the stampings, added a patch box and coned the barrel. I like it much better now and it's a good shooter.
