    Got my kit in today

    Gun for my 8 year old?

    My oldest son (8) want a ML like dad, what do you guys suggest? A pawn shop gun, 45 cal? He is starting deer hunting this year ( the 8th ) and his grandpa got him a youth 243 so he has to use it this year but next year he wants to use the ML. KS minimum call for deer is 40 cal. Any thoughts?

    Lee R.E.A.L hunting?

    Ok my friend has a .50 cal and he just bought a lee real mold in 250 grain. I have heard a lot about them not expanding and so on. What do you think if I take a drill bit and make a few into hollow points? Ofcourse test a few on paper but do you think that would work/help?

    never have to clean the barrel

    well this is my first post here in this forum, hope to learn a bunch from you guys. one thing i have notice is that no one knows about/use's "Griz" ... i use it to clean with and lube patches (for target shooting, for hunting i use bore butter) and i never have to swab between shots. every time...
