    "New" Ruger Old Army

I just bought this revolver from "No Second Place" on here. I admit that I haven't shot it yet but.... It is in beautiful condition for a gun made in January 1976 and his trigger-work is fantastic. It's loaded up with Kaido 240 conicals and Olde Eynsford ready to go tomorrow! I recommend this...

    44 Pietta Snub

I got mine and finally took it out last week. At 15 yards I hit a target box rouhly 5" X 6" every shot after the first two. I shot 5 different cylinders that i had laoded for other revolvers in advance. it was fun. I was shooting 454 RB over a lubed wad and 30 grains of Swiss 3F.

    CLOSED Pietta Snub 1860/1851

I still need one as the Jededia Starr website was wrong. They showed 7 or 8 in stock and let me order one and a day later told me they were out of stock!

    Anybody heard from Edo Junker?

He had me mail him a Classicballistx cylinder that had less powder capacity than claimed. he claime it wasn't theirs and then he said it had to be and begged me to send it to him so that Classicballistx could "Make it Right". Long story made short, I sent the cylinder, insured and tracked, they...

    Navy Arms 1861

I bought a Navy Arms 1861 Navy 36 that they labeled 1861 Army back in 1981 when they made it. It's new in the box but has been turned and the bolt was dinging the cylinder so I'm taking my trusty file to it tonight and cleaning it up and loading it to try out tomorrow. For some reason Photo...

    Reliability of long loaded C&Bs

I'd bought some more Tresso nipples from the Possible Shop for my 1856 Pietta and needed to empty the cylinder that I bought them for. I shot that one and one other cylinder for fun and later went to clean all and put the new nipples in. Those two cylinders and the third I have had been loaded...

    New Flinter

I just got a 45 Flintlock Pistol on Gun Broker. The only marking is Spain on the bottom of the barrel. It shot just fine and looks good.

    Bought 1862 Pocket Navy

I couldn't stop myself. GB had a new in the box 2nd Gen. 1862 Pocket Navy and I accidently bid on it while daydreaming and cleaning guns. Then I won! My Sweetheart may not approve and I don't know what to do. :idunno: :headslap: Help!!!!

    1862 Pocket Police Holster

I just got my holster from Dells Leatherworks today. It's a perfect fit for my Urberti replica and looks to be great quality. Well worth the 50 bucks. :)

    1862 Pocket Police

I just bought a "new in 2009" Uberti in the box. It's very pretty and everything works like it should except 2 things. The hand may be just a tad long as the cylinder really turns past it hard on half cock, for one. The other is that the flame hole in the nipples is way too big. It blows the cap...

    Swiss V/S Goex

Had to buy some Swiss 3F as I couldn't get Goex a couple weeks ago. What others said on here is true. The Swiss looked different and an equal volume in one of my 1851s was way hotter. Just going by sound, recoil and bullet impact. I didn't have the Crony with. The Swiss loads were 6" higher than...

    TC Hawkin 50

My nice old 50 didn't want to fire this week. (been hanging on the wall too long). I set the trigger and squeezed the main trigger and it only dropped the hammer to half cock. I tried it 4 or 5 times and then just pulled the main trigger without setting it with the back trigger and it fired...

    Just Sayin Hello

I've been reading this forum for a while and like what I've read. I've been reloading, shooting and hunting for almost 50 years. I now own many fine firearms and I love the 7 black powder ones I have. (no inlines but 3 cap n ball and 1 flinter) I have carried the flinter deer hunting but haven't...
