    Sight Removal

I have an older TC Hawken barrel that's pretty much trash. I have salvaged the rear sight off of it, as it was screwed to the barrel. I want to remove the front sight also and use it on another gun. Front sight is dovetailed i, need to know the best way to remove it. Thanks in advance.

    Finally found one

I have wanted one of these forever and finally found one in a Gun Shop yesterday. TC 32 cal. In very good condition. The barrel is not marked Seneca or Cherokee and is 24". Could use some help with suggested loads.

    Twist rate T/C Penn. Hunter

I've got a Penn. Hunter flintlock I've had for about 10 years. Shot it a little when I first got it, was going to hunt with it this year but never got around to it. My buddy took a doe with his TC Hawken Perc. on the last day of our season and got me fired up to hunt with the Flinter next...

    New GM barrel

Well Sunday I ordered a drop in GM replacement barrel for my 54 cal. caplock T/C Hawken that I picked up used at a Gun Show for 125.00. I bought the 32" barrel and it dropped right into the stock with no modification whatsoever. Gotta wait till next week to get to the range though and try it...

    Rookie question

I've got a couple of caplock guns I'd like to refinish. I've seen the term "draw filing" on here a few times in regards to refinishing a barrel but I'm not sure what it means or how it's done.

    Gun Show Find

My son and I attended a huge gun show today. Spent a few hours wandering thru the maze of people and vendors. As I walked by one table, out of the corner of my eye I caught a glimpse of an Octagon Barrel with attached Ramrod sticking up above the Muzzles of a rack full of Centerfire Rifles and...

Holster Pattern for a GP Pistol

Anyone have a pattern for a leather holster for a Great Plains 50 cal. Pistol? I've got the leather, hate to spend the money for one if I can make it. Thanks in advance.

    GP Pistol Loads

I have a Great Plains Pistol (.50 cal) that I assembled from a kit about 12 years ago. Need some advice on loads as I'd like to take it out and shoot it again.

    Finishing a Ramrod

I'm replacing the Ramrod on my T/C New Englander Shotgun. I ordered the Hickory replacement, cut it to length and stained it, but I got to thinking, do I need to seal it with Tru-Oil or something?

    New here, from Michigan

Found this site a few days ago, what a wealth of info! I've recently gotten back into trad. muzzleloading. Have 3 right now; a T/C New Englander .50 cal/12ga. barrels, a WRW 50 cal perc. rifle and a T/C Penn. Hunter Flintlock. I'll probably be picking your brains from time to time so here's a...
