This knife, a ball grip 18th century rifleman's or longhunter's knife, is as correct in authenticity as I believe it is possible to get. The flat grind is perfect as is the blade patina, the tiger-stripe maple is awesom, the spine has a perfectly smooth slight rocker from tip to pommel, the scales fit better than any i've previously seen, the steel is perfect in cutting ability. A great knife, would last two or three or more generations, and the price is really low.
