Description: I've got two of Charlie's barrels now, a 44" swamped .45 rifle barrel and a 48" octagon to round 14 bore smoothie. They're each on the guns Roy Stroh made for me, and I'm so happy with them I believe Charlie deserves some mention.

The fowler was my first Flintlock Const. inc. barrel. The quality is top notch, and the slight taper - I'm told the old timers swore by them - seems to make the pattern tighter and range longer.

The rifle barrel boasts a graceful swamp and great balance, and I believe it's got a slight taper too. I'm very happy with both of them. On top of it all I got in touch with Charlie personally, and found him to be a very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating man.

Roy Stroh's website features both these guns and barrels, and I'm sure he could tell more to you builders than I can. But as the end user, I'm extremely happy with them, and would recommend these traditional barrels to anyone.

Pros: Quality barrels made the old way!
Cons: None I can see

I'm adding this "review" so I can rate and recommend these barrels. As I wrote above, they're fantastic.
