The Track of the Wolf has a beautiful catalog and the $ 10.00 is well worth the price. I ordered a Lyman Great Plains Pistol along with the catalog and a cleaning accessory. The catalog and accessory arrived promptly, but I was confused as to where the pistol was. I contacted Track of the Wolf only to discover that the pistol would be drop shipped from the manufacturer, Lyman. They could not provide any details as to expected delivery date or tracking information. I checked back with them and was still not able to obtain any tracking information so I called Lyman myself and discovered that the order had not been entered at Lyman until about six days after my original order and that it would still not ship for three to four business days. I called Track of the Wolf and recommended that they develop a system to keep their customers better informed about their purchase. From date of order to delivery was approximately three weeks or fifteen business days.
Track of the Wolf's pricing seems to be competitive given the quality of their products, but I rate them down in the Customer Service area due to their complete and total lack of concern and information on the status of the order placed through them. Lyman was very helpful!

TOTW does not stock Lyman products and they are shipped from Lyman, not TOTW. I ordered a Lyman GPR from TOTW on Dec 26, 2008 and it didn't receive it until Jan 16, 2009 and only then because I had to drive to Fed Ex to pick it up before Fed Ex returned it to Lyman because of improper addressing. TOTW could not track the shipment so I had to call Fed Ex to find out why delivery was taking so long. But I must say TOTW was as helpful as possible from their end.

When I need supplies I go to Track first as they usually have what I need at a fair price. Carry a good line and have had very little back orders since dealing with them for over 25 years.
Have sold, traded and purchased used guns and always felt like I did Ok.

High quality catalog and website. Fantastic, accurate photo's of products. They tell you if a product is out of stock. The best in the business!

I've been buying from Track for over 20 years and have been well satisfied in every way. The 2 muskets I bought were extremely well packed in a foam cocoon and double boxed. Their product photo's show exactly what you're getting. Prices are reasonable and shipping is fast. I also subscribe to the "archive" which has thousands of pictures of fine original and reproduction muzzleloaders they've sold over the years.

I placed an on-line order for numerous small items. It was acknowledged immediately, and in my mailbox 3 days later. The items were individually packaged, prices were quite fair and shipping costs very reasonable. I don't think I'll be ordering from the W. Tenn company any more.

From one of the other posts I see some things haven't changed. I have placed two orders with TOTW. First was strictly small items that they stock in house. This order was received promptly. The 2nd order was placed 12/22/11 for a Lyman Great Plains Rifle. Website said it was In Stock but I knew it would be drop shipped from Lyman. My credit card was billed 12/22/11. Called Lyman 1/2/12 and they knew nothing about my order. Two emails to TOTW have not been answered. Called one time but they were closed that day. I would not hesitate to order most items from TOTW but if it involes a Lyman product, I will find another retailer to use.

Ordered one rifle very pleased with service on order. One poster comented guns "high end" yes but my rifle is a Don Kammerer worth every cent. Orders of flints and other small items shiped promply. Have never ordered Lyman products from them so can not comment on shipment on Lyman.
