Just received this California Slim Jim from Doug after a very short wait. (around 2 weeks)
This one is a "custom" RH Crossdraw with 30° rake for a Ruger Blackhawk Bisley. Looks like a LH crossdraw because I didn't have a photographer handy and shot this one in a mirror.
It was made for a 1 1/2" belt and it's a VERY snug fit for both the belt and big revolver.
Border design is clean and simple, as per request, stitching will rival most of the "big names".

I just received my second holster from Doug. Bought it for a friend who really likes the looks of the one I bought for my Ruger Blackhawk Bisley.
Second holster has a nicer appearance, (to me), having some slightly darker lines running diagonally across it like a pair of oiled bull shoulder Justin boots I have.
Turnaround time for my second holster was 8 days from order to receipt. Not bad considering that he'd just received another order just prior to mine.
Since Doug will take payment via PayPal I could send payment as soon as he stated me the price, and already knowing the quality of his work I had no reservations about exactly what I'd receive.
Can't wait to see my buddy's face tomorrow when he gets his "late" Christmas present.

Doug is fast, answers emails quick, delivers an outstanding work for a reasonable price.

I have orderd many holsters from doug,nothing but top quality work at a fair price.sometimes I send him a picture of a holster I want, and he makes it just like the picture,but better.the only guy that makes my leather holsters,belts,ext is doug peroid.
