Looking for: My son just joined the San Diego County Muzzleloaders and is in need of a rifle. He would like a Flintlock. I am looking for a inexpensive starter rifle that he can grow with. He is 17 years old and the size of the average adult male. I would prefer to pay with paypal.

Have you found one yet? I have a rifle I just got in a trade I'd consider selling, but it's going to need some work. It's an older .50 caliber T/C Renegade that needs a frizzen (which is on the way) but is otherwise in pretty solid shape. It has a T/C tang peep sight installed as well. If you're interested please feel free to PM me. I'm on the fence about keeping it - I see some potential and could see it being a good shooter but at the same time, I'm interested in colonial era flintlocks and a T/C renegade isn't that. :-/

I have a CVA 45 cal in percussion that I redid last winter> I could part with that for about $225.00. If interested I can send pictures.
