SOLD! ($1,900.00) Excellent

Description: This an unfired custom .40 flintlock "poor boy" built for me by Roy Stroh to be correct for southern Tennessee about 1800. It features a Jim Chambers late Ketland lock, a Charlie Burton 44-inch swamped barrel approximately "A" weight, hand forged furniture and a custom poured nose and stocked in a very nice piece of cherry. The metal is finished bright. LOA is 59 3/4 inches, LOP is 13 1'2 inches, drop at heel is 3 1/8 and weight is 7 3/4 pounds. As you might imagine, it handles like a fine fly rod. Price includes shipping a plywood crate and rifle comes with a Unique brand soft case. Rather than struggle with the photo issues here, if you are seriously interested send me a PM or e-mail me at wmbadenpwl@gmail.com for photos. Thanks.

Had a question about barrel twist. The cleaning rod makes about a two-thirds turn in 44 inches, so somewhere around 1:66 to 1:70 -- nice round-ball twist.

Will go $1,750 shipped for the rifle.
