Description: Offering this fully engraved/scrimshawed powder horn with original authentic construction and designs of the Revolutionary War period. Horn has a nice "S" twist to hug the body, right side carry and 17 1/2 inches around the outside curve of the horn. The American walnut domed and rounded base is approx. 2 3/4" across and has a forged iron strap staple. The spout is an applied turned cow horn tip and engravings include: LIBERTY, federal Eagle with "rayes" pattern over it's head, Folk art depiction of PHILADELPHIA,Sun Face, cannon, Continental Officer w/ sword on horse and much border engraving designs. A special powder horn for display or that special reenactor's kit. NOTE!..SORRY,BUT I WILL NOT BE LOWERING THE PRICE ON THIS HORN. >>SOLD<<
