Early Navy Arms repro of 1863 Springfield, rifled .58 barrel. Everything up to par. No manufacturer stamped on this one just serial number (same under the barrel). Previous owner filed off front sight otherwise good used condition, no cracks in the wooden stock, lock functions fine, nice trigger pull, comes with nice leather sling

Could you post a picture of the barrel where the sight used to be so we can see how bad the previous owner screwed this up.
