    REALLY DIRTY bore!!!

I'm going to give it a try cleaning it. If that doesn't work, I certainly would be interested in a replacement.

Anyone using the Hornady 240gr conical?

I think I might give them a shot! I use the maxi for hunting and am happy with the groupings out to 80yrds. Was just wanting to see about paper punching out to 150 or 200. Just to see what it's (im) capable of. 7" plate is my target. Honestly, I've never used a PRB as I've always been happy...

    The Future of Traditional Muzzleloaders?

I believe alot of it is just culture. Being a kid in the late sixties, I always wanted to be a gunslinger for Halloween!!! Daniel Boone, Davy Crockett!!! Loved them shows. Jeremiah Johnson!!! One of my favorite lines..."you ever skin grizz" . The only real movie lately to portray that time...

Anyone using the Hornady 240gr conical?

Just curious if anyone has tried out the 240gr conical from Hornady. Was thinking of trying a lighter slug for a little flatter trajectory. I currently shoot the 320gr maxi ball.

Glad to be part of this site. Thanks for the ad. Shoot a traditions St. Louis percussion in 50cal. Taken several deer with it, but just enjoy shooting in general.
