Is T/C or CVA still making traditional rifles?

No the .54 barrel will not fit a .50 gun, the outside barrel measurements are different.

I have 2 Uberti Remingtons 58's in 44. One is traditional the other has adjustable sights. Both cylinders fit both guns. The traditional gun will fire all 6 chambers of both cylinders no problem. The one with adjustable sights will not, not even the cylinder that came with it. All nipples...

    Hammer Push off. ideas?

I had recently purchased for a good price a percuusion pistol, looked great and quote the lock works in all positions. Well the full cock notch and tip of the sear were worn, as yours sounds to be. I do a lot of repairs but do not touch sears or the notches. I sent mine to Longhunter Merchantile...

    Cleaning brass without harming wood

This might sound crude but using ash from tobbaco products on a damp rag cleans brss really well, obtaining it from smokers is easy just dump in a coffe can the ashes. I have used it on many guns and it deffinatly does not damage wood finish, but does clean the brass very easily and quickly.

    Ball Stuck

I have not done the air removal. But if you can get a hold of a range rod and ball puller attachment it's not hard. Do not use your ramrod. It may break then you got more junk stuck. Some others also claim grease inserted through a bored out nipple will work, again I have not tried this. The...

    Investarms Hawken style .50

My son has returned and checked out his invest arms with my t.c. barrel and it was just a little too tight, with some minor fitting it would fit.

    CVA Hawken advice

Don't feel bad, I bought a "looks never fired single shot pistol" and of couse all sales are final. The half cock notch was fine but full cock was not. 25.00 plus shipping to a B.P. gunsmith fixed it. So my bargin was not. Used gun byers beware. If you can not hold it in your hand and test/check...
