    2024/2025 Squirrel Hunting Thread...........

I know a fella who uses a similar set of modified vice grips. With those and a swall winch, he is able to skin deer pretty quick and easy (he's partially disabled).

    Making patches

+1 @Hermit Tim. I use a Fiskars fabric cutter. As long as I keep steady, I can cut out quite a few in no time at all.

The trick to it is you have to have a rock or a board works too on the bottom. Use heel of your boot, and just stand up. If that still doesn't work for you, TDM had a tread a while back where he made a pretty nice one.

Help me. I'm moving to Florida. My poor barrels!

I use barricade down the bore, and ballistol on the external. I keep a small pump spray bottle of isopropyl alcohol on the bench, when I take a gun out of the safe for a hunt or range trip, a couple sprays on a patch and run it down the barrel, followed by a dry patch, GTG.

I have 3 apple trees out back. 2 produce red, 1 green. I watch them eating the red ones, they never touch the green ones. Weird. Have 2 persimmon trees that produce, they won't eat them either. 🤷

    Do The Math

It's Not their voting base either. Most guys and gals in the "trades" have something the liberal arts sheep don't, common sense. That can't be bought.
