    I agree with the suggestion to build up a layer of solder on the bottom of the male dovetail. I brighten up the whole surface, flux it, and lay on a thick layer of solder. Then I run it back and forth over coarse sandpaper to take off the high spots and take it down till it's just a skosh too...
