Do you prefer Real Black Powder or a BP substitute?.........Why?
I got a some 777 a while back because it was said by some to be less corrosive. I never will know for sure because I clean up after using it the same as I do after using the real stuff. replacing rear sight lyman GPR
I agree with the suggestion to build up a layer of solder on the bottom of the male dovetail. I brighten up the whole surface, flux it, and lay on a thick layer of solder. Then I run it back and forth over coarse sandpaper to take off the high spots and take it down till it's just a skosh too...- rheath
