I live in the extreme corner of NE Montana on the open plains. I live with a strong homesteader mentality. I raise some cattle along with a sideline of carpentry/construction. I have always had a passion for Western history since I was old enough to know what it was. I grew up immersing myself in mountain man/longhunter style of Historical reenacting till my early 20s. I enjoy hunting for the table and on a few occasions chase horns while I'm at it. I run a trapline most years, to keep the critters in check, and also as a resource of adding a few more bucks to the old coffee can. I also enjoy bushcrafting and living the outdoor lifestyle as much as possible. I recently have dove back into flintlocks. I am beginning to swap over almost entirely to these old sparkers for hunting big game and upland, though I still keep my modern shooters around just in case...
