    Looks they they are more used for that sort of stuff in Germany then up here in Sweden, ive only heard of these as scare shot guns.

    Looks very much like an ordinary "alert gun", was used in Europe in mountainous areas as explained, and also i heard of them being used as scare shot pistol by Woodkeepers and others.

    Be warned though, alot of these Jezzail guns are tourist manure, so be sure to check it up before trying to fire anything from it.

    Well, got it kimrök'd and waxed, and all finished up now. Although it was discovered last night that, it gives off no sparks when fired, i have ordered a new flint to see if that fixes the problem, otherwise it must be the frizzen that got a shitty hardening.

    Some update on my project sofar. Just some minor sandpapering, rasping (more wood has to come off up on the ridge, still abit too fat there.) and the coloring the stock left now.

    wood rasp, demands alot of work and you cant get any more basic then that, but it gets the job done with a high amount of control over it unlike if i would have used some electrical machine for it.

    Lockplate has been fitted,ive been drawing the lines where the wood will be taken down abit, and will prob begin sawing and rasping away wood on the sides of the stock tomorrow, for starters. Also on screen is the "blueprint" im following.
