Ramrod Treatment ?
I recently had to get a new ramrod for my rifle and many people recommended hickory. A couple of people recommended that I soak the new ramrod in a linseed/kerosene mixture before I use it. I understand that the mixture will soak into the wood and make the ramrod stronger and harder to break...- filly

I just went off the deep end and bought a new Pedersoli Frontier for my very first flintlock. I am sooo very new to this - but so very excited about going to the range for the first time with my own gun. Can I just use regular bore cleaner to clean off the oil currently on the barrel? Is...- filly
