    Well guys thanks for the insight.. I tried putting the front sight to where it was just visible in the lower part of the v notch of the hammer and this lowered it to about 3 " high. I might be able to live with that. I tell you what though... this gun is a pleasure to shoot.

    Got a new Uberti Walker from Cabelas this week. A Real beauty. One problem it shoots 6" high at 25 yds. With fixed sights how do I fix this problem? The grouping is within a 3" circle dead center but 6"" above the bulls eye. Thanks
