• Friends, our 2nd Amendment rights are always under attack and the NRA has been a constant for decades in helping fight that fight.

We have partnered with the NRA to offer you a discount on membership and Muzzleloading Forum gets a small percentage too of each membership, so you are supporting both the NRA and us.

Retired power plant worker(TVA).

My first hobby was carving duck decoys but made the mistake of turning a hobby into a business. When my backlog of orders became several years long I put my tools down and walked away, never to pick them up again.

Next I started making selfbows, got real good at it but learned my lesson from my duck carving and never took on more work than I could handle easily. I sold a bunch, gave away more than I sold and now mostly donate them to charity events to be auctioned off.

I will always make bows but have branched out to building flintlocks for a change of pace. I have built two scratch builds, two from precarves and a couple of TC kits. I view myself as a beginner.
