    I swab well with MooseMilk at the range, get the outside clean also. Then clean thoroughly when I get home. Seems to work well.

    I am on the side of value for the money. If you factor in the time need to find all these componets, and the cost of tools and supplies that come with the kit, it seems an excellent value for someone who wants to try their hand at such a project. IMHO. hurray for Jim Kibler!

    A cheap way to learn to shoot is with an air rifle or air pistol. A tin of pellets is not expensive. Typically you get 500 pellets in a tin. Cheapest are the .177 pellets and guns.
