I learned to shoot when I was 8. My Dad got me into a marksmanship program in what was then the Canal Zone in Panama. I could not shoot offhand as I was too small to hold up a Springfield. After three years there it was mostly plinking untill I entered Navy ROTC and shot on a pistol team for 3 years. Black powder came along after I left active duty in 1974. I still get the Colt 36 Navy or 2 band Enfield out every now & then. Flints have been my main interest for the past several years and my wife and I have become 18th century civilian reenactors. I shoot a rifle, pistol fowler & blunderbuss.
