    Turkey season look promising in my little part of the world

    Good luck. My hunt starts May 1. Could sure use the meat, and my crafting buddies are already begging for the feathers. Be well and at peace.

    Gardening 2023

    Planted our first tomatoes and peppers this week. Already eating lettuce, asparagus, onions and wild greens. Planting sweet potatoes this week also. Started some willow cuttings for herbal aspirin use.

    Hello from Central Georgia

    Thanks for the welcome. I'll be hunting deer in Jachin Alabama in December. Got a nice one last year at the same lodge. I haven't taken a deer with black powder yet, but quite a few with rifle, shotgun and crossbow. I also bought my Yanmar tractor from a dealer in north AL. Nice folks. Tropicdoc

    Hello from Central Georgia

    I'm new to this site. I have enjoyed percussion 50 caliber shooting; now looking into blackpowder squirrel hunting with a smaller caliber rifle and maybe a shotgun. Really enjoy bushcrafter type skills. Tropicdoc
