    Arkansas

They are but in a different location. They were located in Ozone Arkansas, which is about an hour and a half south of me. Now I believe they are in Idaho under different ownership. I have ordered parts from both locations and had great service with both.

A little more forge time this weekend

I wish I could! I can’t find a name on it but I believe it is either a Peter Wright, or a Trenton. It belonged to my great grandfather and then was passed to my great uncle. He used it from the 1930-1990s. He had no children so before he passed away he gave it, and his other tools to me.

A little more forge time this weekend

A couple more small rake tine knives, a but-plate, and the beginnings of a trigger guard for a rifle build I’m in the middle of working on.

Not at the moment. I may make a few extra this spring and put a couple in the classifieds though.

Here are a couple knives I recently finished. The larger is made with 1084 and elk antler. The smaller is made from a rake tine with deer antler handle.

    What is your hunting rifle?

I understand your reasoning. I have used everything from 40 to 62cal including a 54 for a while. I did not go into using a 40 lightly but I found that within 50 yards or less at high velocity it is effective. My main load is a PRB and 65 gr fff Swiss. I am not recommending it for everyone as...

    What is your hunting rifle?

Years past have carried a 38 inch 40 cal. I built a few years ago. This year I am using a 38 inch 50 cal. I was striving for a lighter rifle as I walk a lot in the field. Both of these rifles use B weight Rice barrels. Every once in a while I have a 62 cal smooth rifle that I carry but not as...
