Posting on behalf of the Muzzle Loaders Association of Great Britain (MLAGB). Jeff will be known here by many for his mould making.

It is with great sadness to report that Jeff Tanner passed away today at 12:30 with Chris and family at his side. Jeff was one of the first 100 members of the MLAGB with his first International Shooting competition in 1974.

Jeff was well known to the shooting community and he will be sadly missed by all...Our heartfelt condolences go out to his wife Chris and their two children.

Rest in peace Jeff

Jeff will definitely missed by the many people who knew him. He was a nice man and made many moulds for me. My prayers and condolences go out to Chris and all his family.

Thank you for the notification.

My sincere condolences to his family.

Many of us here on this side of the Big Pond never met Jeff, but his moulds were used and enjoyed by many and admired by many more.

Gus

Jeff would wish you to know that www.ballmoulds.com is still open for business. Existing orders will be completed but there might be a slight delay - I am sure you will understand. James, Jeff’s son, has been undertaking the manufacture of the moulds for some time now and will continue to do so.

Sorry to hear of the loss of Jeff. :(

I was going to move this topic to the Beyond the Great Divide area of the forum but because there is good information about the moulds he sold and a lot of people might be interested in sending some business to the old company, I'll leave it here.

Condolences to his family and friends. I'm shocked though, with the news just coming out of the blue.

Very sorry to hear that Jeff has died. Just a nice person to do business with. Glad to hear his legacy will be carried on.

I just got word that Jeff Tanner the English Mould supplier has passed on. His son has been working beside him for 10 years and will carry on the business.

I always enjoyed my interactions with Jeff. He was always prompt and accurate in anything he provided me.
