Yep I went and did it. I hit the "Place Order" button on TOTW for a Christian's Spring, Pennsylvania Longrifle! Check it out! This is my third flinter but my first custom. I've been looking for a custom rifle for years and this one had all the features I could ask for just hope my enthusiasm didn't cause me to pay to much

Oh man!!! She's a looker!!

Even if you did pay a premium, all that matters is that you are happy with it. Who cares what a bunch of arm chair quarter backs think!!

Enjoy lots of smoke!!

Doc

Life is short, if you are happy with the gun you did not pay too much

Lucky for me I'm single so I don't have to put up with any guff from she who must be obeyed :nono: :haha: I've been saving my penny's for a long time so this purchase had a lot riding on it. I still feel a little queasy but like you guys say as soon as I make smoke out of it I'll feel great

I’m very happy for you my friend! That’s a beautiful rifle!! Definitely a looker. TOW are very good people to deal with as well. They definitely stand behind any muzzleloader they sell. I’ve bought several from them in the past. What they tell you about the muzzleloader is true. Good or Bad! The 10 day inspection is also a testament on how they do business. It gives you the opportunity to shoulder the muzzleloader for fit as well as a very close examination too!

I’ve never had to return a muzzleloader back to them! I hope you enjoy your beautiful muzzleloader for years to come. We’ll definitely expect more pics and of course a range report!! 😊

Anyway, congratulations my friend!

Respectfully, Cowboy

Mate you have spent your pennies ver wisely, that is a wonderful rifle. You will love the balance and how easy it will mount to the shoulder. I have a slightly later rifle made by Niel Fields with the same Collerain barrel and a Jim Chambers lock, its .40 and a real tack driver .
Will look forward to seeing your first range report.

Cheers

Beautiful Rifle, I am happy for you. Learned early in life that when you work hard for your money and save for something you really want, you appreciate it so much more. I'm sure you will get many years of enjoyment out of it. Please do give us a range report later. Best of luck and congratulations.
