Hello all, where can I find Musket Percussion Caps? Places around here that sell blackpowder done have musket caps and checked TOTW, they don't have them listed. Thanks, Steve

I like Back Creek too. Good place to get some powder. It was convenient for me..., after dropping off the daughter at JMU, following Spring Break, I'd swing by on the way North, and pickup the annual reenacting unit supply of powder.

Indeed, John and his family are GREAT FOLKS to do business with!!!

BTW, I've tried different brands of Musket Caps over the years and RWS is without a doubt my all time preferred favorite!!

Thanks I have a nephew that lives in Winchester I'll have to give him a shout.

In over 38 years of using RWS caps I can count on one hand the number of defective caps I have found and I believe in 25 years of shooting my wife would say the same. I bought a thousand RWS 1075s and when I get back to revolver shooting I will be trying them.

I began using RWS No.11 caps in 1974, after my first trip to an NSSA Spring National Shoot. I have tried others over the years for both Rifles and Revolvers and went back to the RWS as the most sure fire and consistent. Consistency is a huge deal for accuracy.

Though I did a lot more reenacting with Rifle Muskets than live firing since 1980, and though I have done some competition firing with them, I also tried a couple other brands of Musket Caps and went back to RWS for the same reason as their No.11 caps. I always felt it more than worthwhile to pay the extra for RWS caps, even for reenacting.
