I was at an auction today, it started at 9am. Around 3 pm a dream gun came up for bid. A Ketland flintlock pistol(muff)? The bore mics out at .435 and it has a nice patina. The folding trigger won't stay up. You don't see many that are still shoot able. The price was right, I guess no one knew what they were looking at!

I was high bidder, it went cheap!I thought it might go for 400. The auctioneer started out by saying it was a rusty old flintlock. Not a lick of rust on it, just a beautiful patina. I'm still smiling! The screw in the jaw is stuck, I have to loosen it because I'm going to shoot it!
