Already time to start planning the NMLRA Forum Woods Walk!

Lets plan for a noon start on Sunday, September 9. Hope we get at least one more smoothbore shooter to challenge me for the smoothbore cup! Rifle shooters will be competing for the plate currently in 1SGT's possession.

Chime in here if you are going.

Barry

Youbetcha! I well remember Barry clanging that steel target at about 65 yards with his beloved smoothbore in June. I want to hear that target ring again.

Barry, as you know, I'm going.

I'm looking forward to my first woods walk with my new-to-me T/C Hawken.

Also, looking forward to seeing if the stories of your shooting expertise are true or just tall tales.

For me, just hoping not to embarrass myself too much.

Good Day to All!!

This will be my first visit to Friendship and i will bring my smooth bore with me...it is a 14ga fowler is that OK?

David is an old friend of mine who will be joining us. He went and bought him one of them new fangled percussion guns where someone went and scratched up the inside of his barrel. Almost as bad as Trent's where they put the lock in on the wrong side of the gun!

:)

Barry,
I wouldn't call David old. He's only 51.

Correct, but knowing Barry for at least half that time makes it seem so much longer than 51.

I'm sure some of you all can relate.

Yeah! Wait. What? Who?

See y'all there! The forecast currently isn't too good. If it rains bad enough to close the Woods Walk range on Sunday, can we put together some sort of a backup plan? Either/Or meet somewhere drier as a group, or set up an alternate date/time?

Well, we had to turn around. The road is washed out. Hope those of you who are there can get out.

I may try to go down again during the week or next Saturday if anyone want to try again.

Barry

barry which road was washed out. I was planning to go Monday morning, I'm driving from new Albany' up 62, thanks for any information, chris popp,
