I ran across this European silver-plated brass powder horn, which has an interesting neck and multiple tiedown/strap points.

:hmm:

Is there an American time period in which the use of this horn would fit ?

What sort of frontstuffer would this horn be PC with ?

Please chime in & let me know.

Middle eastern and no time frame that it would have been used in this country. It's difficult to tell how old these are as many were and still are made for the tourist trade. Perhaps Ricky will see this and chime in as he is very knowledgeable in this area.

In retrospect, the flask's mouth looks to be a little large for powder - so a shot or ball flask ?

It smacks to me of Eastern Europe in the early-mid 19th Century.
