The fair will be held July 27, 28, 29 at the grounds of Dixons Muzzloading gun shop. Near Kempton Pa. 3 miles north of I78 on Rt 737. See Dixons web site for seminar details and more information. This has been a yearly pilgrimage for me for the last 20 or more years. See you there BJH

I spent the morning there yesterday, and as always, it was time well spent. I always enjoy admiring the professionally crafted selection of side hammer weapons, and the array of beautiful horns and bags.

I left Dixon's with three horns for future projects, a .36 cal. breech plug scraper I thought I needed, and a half dozen ears of sweet corn from the nearby stand along Rt. 737.

I detoured west to Cabela's for chili and a walkabout for potential necessities, then headed down Rt. 61, arriving at home safely to continue our assault on our local, but rapidly growing, plague --- the limb-sucking nymphs of the dreaded spotted lanternfly!!! :cursing:

Out near the interstate highway is Deitrech (spelling?) market. Make sure you stop in there. Fantastic smoked meats and fresh meat also!

Deitrichs meat so yeah! I also some times stop up north off of 61 in Shenndoah to stop at the keilbassa shop. All different types of Polish keilbassa. Oh boy!!! BJH
