While I didn't fit in much with the chuckwagon cowboy reenactors or the pioneer folks, but I had a great time talking to everyone that came by.
Hard to compete with food trucks nearby but I had lots of coffee and stew samplers.
(Yes I know my bright blue coffee pot aint right but I knew I would need a bigger one.
An the fire ring was only because we could have a fire on the ground.)

I had a few folks even sit and watch me do a little lazy stitch beading on a pipe bag I have been working on.

Wearing the clout and leggings was a great choice on a 100 degree day.
I truly love sharing my passions for living history with anyone willing to listen.

I made that dining fly in a pinch since my old one had a big hole in it and I was afraid it would rip

Great effort, Tall Hat. Thanks for representing the earlier period so well. Just realized I have passed through that town via 35 when visiting my daughter at Baylor a few years ago. So much to know about Texas history!
