While digging through my books looking for something else, I found a copy of Charlie Hansen's Trade Gun Sketch Book. I didn't even know I have this. Still in plastic wrap. Quickly paged through it. Loaded with lots of great information. Just think, if I had known I had it I could have used for reference and made posts about trade guns sounding like I actually knew what I was talking about.  I plan to read completely. I'll never build from it's info but like to see how things were/are properly done.

Fun isn't it when you have been in this game for a bunch of years and dig through some old stuff and find something you forgot you even had.

Yep. I'm at the stage where I need to decide what happens to all my 'stuff' once I go to rendezvous in the sky. At yard sales it would go for pennies on the carton full. My son would trash it. I don't ronny anymore so selling is unlikely. At this point I believe I'll just donate to my ml club for use as shoot prizes. Lotsa stuff. e.g. 25 tomahawks, 25 powder horns, at least 50 ramrods, dozen bear claw necklaces, countless ml shooting accessories, and on and on.
