You're not going to like my answer, but for me its the truth.

Money

I support a family of 5 on what by today's standards is a small salary for so many to live on; at least for the area I live in.

What little free money I have goes to ammunition and range membership for shooting. (and beer...)

I even had to let my regular NRA membership go, as well as my VFW membership

I have been a member since 1994, some days I wonder why.
But at the end of the day I look at several things, one of my friends daughter receive a $ 500.00 scholarship for 4 years she is now a teacher, I have received help with questions about starting a club, back when insurance was a problem, I have met many people by attending NMLRA events, a lot have become friends! So, is it worth, well it is worth what you put into it!

Joining the MLMRA benefits them far more than it benefits me.

Frankly, In my opinion they would be far better off focusing on just being a magazine.

I'm not a joiner. There also has to be a compelling benefit in order for me to invest and I just don't see one. Paying for the privilege of supporting someone else's (political) position/opinion is not appealing to me either.

Joined many years ago then changed to the National Association of Primitive Riflemen. Then they went under. I have never reuped but no proper reason, I have bought half of the book of buckskinng books, does that count?

I'm not a member, and really don't know much of anything about them, therefore not knowing any benefits of joining.

Thats the only benefit I see that I could use. Never joined. Life member of NRA (got a nice (wayy too small now) leather jacket prove it

I try to support as many shooting magazines and local argaizatuons as possible, even 1 small club an hour away because I found out they host a small ML shoot once per year.
Of all the magazines - NMLRA MuzzleBlast is by far my favorite to read, that’s why I’m a LIFE & 1/1000 member. Don’t mind a few modern articles, usually 1 out of about 80-100 pages of reading. Sometimes the stories themselves are interesting with data - like this months in state law Deer harvest.
I also enjoy the shooting reports and technical stuff - much better than some orher mag fake stuff.
God bless the and I hope they continue to grow.

I am a member simply because I like Muzzle Blasts, as well as the discount on rendezvous registration. Plus getting back to Friendship is on my "to do list".

Life member of the NRA. I joined them forty plus years ago. Only so much money to go around also. And as has already been said, the NRA has the PAC funding to fight for our 2A Rights.

I am a member. I live 3 hours from Friendship so it's kinda in my backyard. I enjoy going to the Spring and Fall shoots and Muzzleblasts is a great magazine. Great bunch of people in my opinion.

Been a life member of the NRA for over 40 years, and in that spirit I've been watching NMLRA forever to see what it is doing that also needs my support. Haven't found it yet.
