Generally I never stray from the universal solvent (water) when it comes to cleaning my ML's but after my most recent shooting trip I decided to try something new. The product in question is called "Totally Awesome" and is available in a one gallon jug at the dollar store... For the sum of one dollar. Had mine in a spray bottle, cut 50/50 with water. Sprayed the lock and was astonished when the thick fouling disappeared with zero scrubbing! Sprayed it down the bore, and ran a swab soaked in the stuff back and forth a few times. Dried and oiled as normal. My gun was squeaky clean in no time and with less effort than plain water. Worth a try folks!
